Expectations
- We expect for all members to display hard work and dedication. We ask that every swimmer attends practices and meets ready to display his/ her personal best. (All that matters is that you try your best!)
- Non club swimmers are required to attend 3 of the 4 practices a week and club swimmers are required to attend 1 practice a week. Meets count toward these requirements
- We expect for all members to display teamwork and sportsman-like conduct throughout the duration of the swim season. A negative attitude and/ or an inability to work with others will not be tolerated.
- We ask that all members have the ability to listen to and follow directions. Our team tends to be rather large, so good listening skills are required.
- We require all team members to keep up with his/ her school work and obtain passing grades for the duration of our swim season. School comes first, and we are more than willing to accommodate for swimmers who have projects and studying interfering with practice times. However, homework is not excusable for swim meets. The SACS grade policy will be in effect for our season. Please refer to the school website for a full explanation of the grade policy.
- We expect all swimmers (and parents/ guardians) to provide efficient and effective communication throughout our season. If you know you will be missing a swim meet or practice, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan ahead. However, please keep in mind that all swim meets are mandatory. We are very understanding when it comes to the unexpected, but please let us know as soon as possible when these events occur.
