ALL SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL FORM ON FILE

We are asking that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms.  Homestead High School uses the same management system and the information will automatically be transferred after 8^th grade.  IF your child already participated in a sport this year, then he or she is already in the FinalForms system.

What we expect from each swimmer:

• Hard work
• Teamwork
• Good communication
• Contact us if you will be missing a practice or swim meet as soon as possible
• Handout has been received
• Respect for their teammates and coaches
• Listen and follow directions
• Maintain passing grades
• Do your homework before practice
• Please know that the SACS grade policy will be in effect for the swim season.

Important Dates:

• Tryouts: Tuesday, January 16th and Wednesday, January 17th
  • Dive:  6:15 – 7:30 PM
  • Swim: 7:00 – 8:00 PM
• First Week of Practices:
  • Dive:  Tuesday, January 16^th – Thursday, January 18th
  • Swim:  Tuesday, January  16^th -  Thursday, January 18th
• First Meet:  Wednesday, February 7th at 5:30 – Woodside vs Summit (Scrimmage)

Parent Meeting:  Thursday, January 25^th at 7:45 PM in Summit’s Cafeteria

Bring your checkbook or cash -$10 transp. Fee  $5 donation

Practice Information:

• The swim team practices Monday–Thursday from 7:00 – 8:00 PM
• The dive team practices Monday – Thursday from 6:15 – 7:30 PM (Sometimes Friday)
• Non-club Swimmers
  • You MUST attend at least 3 out of the 4 practices each week unless excused otherwise
• Club Swimmers
  • You MUST attend at least 1 out of the 4 practices each week unless excused otherwise (**A swim meet counts as a practice**)
• No locker rooms will be available after swim practice.
  • Please bring all belongings to the bleacher area of the pool.
• Swimmers should come to the pool with their swimsuit on and be seated on the pool bleachers no later than 7:00 PM
• Students must be picked up no later than 15 minutes after practice is dismissed.
• PLEASE pick your child up on time.  THANK YOU! 

Team Dues:

• Mandatory $10 Transportation Fee
• $5 Donation for the End of Season Celebration
• We prefer 2 separate checks; Both written to Woodside.

Team Apparel: Team Swim Suit  

• Team T-Shirt with LAST NAME on the back is REQUIRED
• The other apparel on the team store is OPTIONAL (woodsideswim23.itemorder.com/shop/sale/)
