It is time for the 4th annual Red Warrior 5k and Kids Fun Run, taking place at Woodside on Saturday, May 12th at 9AM.  The goal for this year's event is to raise the funds needed to bring Project Lead the Way to Woodside.  The funds raised will help offset the costs of teacher training as well as the required classroom materials to get the program started at Woodside.  

Project Lead the Way's Gateway program has been designed for middle school students and will offer them activities  in areas including computer science, engineering, and biomedical science.  This program will also empower students to develop essential skills such as problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance.  To read more about PLTW please click here.

We are inviting students to help participate in the fundraising efforts for PLTW.  Attached you will find an informational letter to your student as well as a donation log sheet.  Of course there will be prizes for the top donation collectors - the top fundraiser from each grade will receive a $50 gift card!!
