We wanted to provide a few updates regarding the end of the year collection and distribution of school and student materials.
Condition of School Issued Laptop Reporting
Each year, the school issued laptops are inventoried, checked for damage, repaired, and reimaged in the summer. Prior to collecting the student laptop, we have asked all students to report the current condition of their laptop. This is an opportunity for students to report damage and/or other problems with their laptop. This morning all students were sent a Canvas message asking each student to fill out an electronic form reporting the condition of their laptop. Please make sure your student fills out this form prior to returning the laptop to report any damage to his/her school issued laptop.

Yearbooks
Many of you pre-ordered Yearbooks for the 2019-2020 school year. Yearbooks will be available for pick-up following the drop-off/pick-up plan May 26th - May 28th. If you choose to return materials on May 21st or 22nd, you will need to return May 26th - 28th during the pick-off/drop-off times for the Yearbook.
If you did not pre-order a yearbook, but would still like one, we have some available for purchase. Please follow the steps below to purchase a 2019-2020 yearbook. If you have questions regarding Yearbooks, you may email Kristen Swangin at [email protected].

After working with our yearbook company, Walsworth, and deciding how to follow the Governors restrictions that the office will not reopen until July 1, we have opened an online yearbook purchase. The website will be available to purchase ONLY until the books run out so that we can’t oversell. Follow these steps to purchase a yearbook.
1) Go to yearbookforever.com
2) Type in Woodside Middle for the school name. Choose the Fort Wayne one.
3) Follow the payment steps. Be sure to put your students first and last name, as that is how they will be distributed.
4) You can choose to pay with credit card or PayPal.
5) After your order is confirmed EMAIL MRS. SWANGIN at [email protected] with your confirmation.
6) Pick up your yearbook at Woodside during the week of 5/26, along with your other students possessions and returns.
The reason you will email Mrs. Swangin is so she can update the master pickup list being used for student material distribution. Our master list will be updated at 10pm each night, so if you purchase the Yearbook now they are not available for same day pickup May 26-28th.
Any item(s) not claimed by June 5th will be properly disposed of or donated to a local charity.
