SACS would like to remind you of the second phase of a road construction project that will likely impact your commute in and around Woodside Middle School and Covington Elementary School. You may recall Phase 1 that occurred in October 3 - November 3, 2017 that closed the same portion of W. Hamilton Road S.
Phase 2
Tentatively set to begin January 8, 2018 – May 11, 2018
W. Hamilton Road S. - Closed from State Road 14/Illinois Rd to Ridge Crest Crossing
- Parents picking up and/or dropping off their students should continue to follow already established procedures for their school.
- Please do not use the restricted drive behind CES off Covington Rd. This must remain a bus only drive to ensure the buses are able to safely enter and exit our campuses and maintain their route schedules.
- Some bus routes will need to be rerouted. The Transportation Department will contact families where bus stop times will be affected.
- The safety of our girls and boys is paramount. Please plan ahead and be patient as we work through the challenges the upcoming closures will create.
