Practice: Track and Field practices will start on Monday March 26th.  Practices are as follows:  Mon-Thur 3-4:30, Fridays 2:30-4.  Students will report to the cafeteria for After School Study Session and then report to the locker rooms to change.  We expect Track athletes to attend all practices unless they communicate with the coaches.  We will not practice over Spring Break.

Events:  Track and Field have many different events and distances. Students can participate as individuals and in relays. They can participate in 4 events, including relays. We encourage kids to try new things and try as many events as possible.   All athletes will do some running, even if they are interested in only throwing events.

ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL TURNED IN AND CONCUSSION FORMS SIGNED BEFORE THEY CAN ATTEND PRACTICE.  STUDENTS WILL BE SENT HOME FROM THE FIRST PRACTICE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER FORMS TURNED IN!

Appropriate Dress: Everyday, regardless of weather, athletes should come to practice with long sleeves, pants, short sleeves, shorts, and proper running shoes.  Running spikes are optional and are only used for meets, not practice.

Meets: The meet schedule is available by following the link at the left.  All athletes will compete at Home Meets but we are limited in how many can compete at Away meets.   We will take as many kids as possible but practice attendance and attitude will play a part in the decision process.
